Payment and transaction information, such as billing information, purchase history, transaction amounts, payment status, refunds, chargebacks, and related transaction information. Payment information may be collected and processed directly by our third-party payment providers.

Communications, including messages you send through GitMason, communications between users and Creators, and communications you send to GitMason for support or other purposes.

User-generated Content, including photographs, videos, audio, text, posts, comments, messages, and other material you upload, provide, transmit, purchase, or otherwise make available through the Service, together with associated metadata.

Marketing information, such as your preferences for receiving marketing communications and information about your interactions with those communications.

When you use GitMason, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information, including:

Creator Account Services

We may use Personal Information to provide and support Creator Accounts and related features, including enabling communications between users and Creators and providing related customer support.

Process Transactions

We may use Personal Information to process purchases, send payments to Creators, maintain transaction records, address refunds or chargebacks, prevent payment fraud, and comply with financial and tax obligations.

Maintain Safety and Security

We may use Personal Information to:

• protect accounts and the Service;
• prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or security incidents;
• enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements;

Improve GitMason

Creators and Users

Certain information is shared as necessary for users and Creators to interact through the Service.

For example, a Creator may receive information concerning purchases, messages, or interactions involving that Creator’s account. Users may see Creator profile information and Content that the Creator has chosen to make available.

Professional Advisors

We may share information with lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, and other professional advisors where reasonably necessary.

Business Transactions

If GitMason is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, Personal Information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

GitMason uses third-party payment providers to process purchases and Creator payouts.

Those providers may collect and process payment information directly under their own terms and privacy policies.

GitMason may receive transaction information from those providers, such as payment status, transaction amount, limited payment-method information, refunds, disputes, or chargebacks.

7. Retention

We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining accounts, completing transactions, complying with legal and tax obligations, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

GitMason is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
